Joe Biden Claims "We are moving in the right direction"
69Joe Biden disagree's with the rest of America, We're moving in the right direction.
Joe Biden made the outrageous claim today that we are "moving in the right direction." These comments come on the heels of a report out suggesting that August was the worst month in previously owned home sales since 1995. Not the direction the rest of America thinks we should be moving in. This is especially disheartening considering unemployment figures remain grim and the Obama administrations policies frighten and stagnate business.
Biden made this claim while he was responding to Rep. John Boehner's (R)- Ohio attacks on the current administrations decision to let most of the Bush Tax Cuts expire, crippling small businesses and the only people capable of creating jobs in the current economic crisis. The administrations complete lack of understanding of economics is becoming more and more apparent as calls from many top Republicans urge the President to fire his economic team including treasury secretary Timothy Geithner.
More bogus talk without results.
Biden's comments came at an event where he was unveiling a report that was supposedly analyzing the "Recovery Act" but in typical Biden fashion he went off the script to react to the Republican house minority leader Boehner. Biden sarcastically stated "[That's] very constructive advice and we thank the leader [Boehner] for that."
Biden then proceeded to blame the Bush administration as usual explaining that 8 years before the Obama administration took office the Republicans had driven the economy into the ground. This typically spins the situation as Democrats have become famous for, neglecting to realize that the economy had many good years under Bush and only tanked as the Republicans lost control of congress to the out of touch Democrats under the failed dictatorish leadership of Nancy Pelosi, the most hated politician in America according to poll numbers.
"It is a Wall Street tax cut" Biden remarked, although his Administration received more money from Wall Street than the Republicans did in the 2008 election cycle. They are big time buddy's with Goldman Sachs and the like and their failing, monstrous stimulus package did little more than stimulate government.
In this writers opinion, government needs to get the hell out of the way of free enterprise and let the laissez-faire economics that made us great lead us to recovery. If this writer had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for failures created by government policy and regulation, he wouldn't have to be writing articles on Hubpages at 1:30 in the morning.

Hey, really great hub! The truth shall set us free (or will it get us locked up?)!!! Much of America needs a swift kick in the butts to wake the heck up and know when you are being sold a bill of goods, no pun intended.
