Hot Hubpages Hubs
76What makes a hot hubpages hubs?
Recently, I had been going over my hubs and trying to figure out what made some of them hot hubpages hubs while others seemed to go nowhere. I came across a dramatic insight. It was very obvious to me suddenly what separated the hot hubpages hubs from the not so hot hubpages hubs. Naturally, one would assumed that topics that were searched more frequently would create a hotter, more researched hub, but the nature of the internet creates such a large amount of competition for hot keywords while other less popular keywords are left for internet pioneers to discover.
That left me thinking, is it possible to truly discover what makes a hot hubpages hub hot? Maybe it is a random act of the cosmos, maybe it is google's algorithm, or maybe there is more to it than that. I have seen a variety of topics become the number one most succesful area for a particular hubber in my experience at hubpages but I could never nail down why one hub would be hot for one hubber and another hub on a similar topic be a dud. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the average new hubber trying to develop an audience on hubpages and ultimately make money with hubpages but there turns out to be, after some research a definite pattern on what actually attracts viewers to a hupages and makes a particular hub on hubpages "hot". What is the secret to hot hubs you ask? Read on to find out.
The difference between hot hubpages hubs and not-so-hot hubpages hubs boils down to the author. It is more than just keyword related. No matter who writes a hub on a particular subject it can become a popular hub. It seems to rely more heavily on the passion the hub author has for the topic.
For example, I could write 20 hubs on topics I do not care about that many people are searching for on google and it will not do anything for the amount of traffic I have. But in my experience, if I write on a topic I am heavily interested in or passionate about I will somehow garner a large amount of traffic.
If a hubber does some keyword research before they begin to write a hub and they honestly have passion about the topic they are writing about they dramatically increase their chances of writing a truly hot hubpages hub.
I have written excellent hubs with keyword research and SEO in mind on topics I am not passionate about that receive 1 view a month, while other hubs were less organized and hastily written and get hundreds or thousands of views a month.
Ultimately for hubbers interested in what makes hot hubpages hubs hot, it really boils down to passion for the subject. If I write about post apocalyptic survival or the founding fathers my hubs are more likely to do well because I have a genuine interest in the topic at hand. If I write about something celbrity oriented I am doomed from the word go. This is the nature of the internet now a days and writing hot hubpages hubs really boils down ultimately to the passion of the hubber who is writing.
